Dream. You just won the lottery for $5 million. In order of priority, what would you do or buy with that money? (Be specific)
What is your most important goal?

LET’S TALK ABOUT SOME GUIDELINES ON HOW TO SET GOALS.

1. We have to make sure that the goal we desire to achieve is something we truly want, not just something that "sounds" good or cool. There has to be a burning desire behind that goal. When setting goals keep in mind that it is important that our goals be consistent to our values.

2.Develop goals in five areas of your life:
BUSINESS AND FINANCES
HEALTH AND FITNESS
LOVE AND RELATIONSHIPS
LEARNING AND GROWTH
PERSONAL AND CONTRIBUTION GOALS
AND "ALWAYS" INCUDE FUN GOALS...TRIPS..VACATIONS AND THE LIKE...

3. A goal must not contradict any of your other goals. For example if you want to buy a $500,000 dollar home this year, you can't have an income goal of $50,000. This falls under what the experts call "integrated thinking" and that will sabotage all the hard work in planning your goals. That form of thinking goes beyond our goals as well, it effects our everyday thoughts as well...Strive to eliminate any and all contradictory ideas and thinking from our thought process.

4. Write down your goals in the positive not the negative, the future not the present, what that means is this; look to the future, the place your goals will propel you, see it, feel it, smell it, act as if you have achieved your goal. The reason we write down and examine our goals consistently is to create a set of instructions, and guidelines for our subconscious mind to carry out. Did you know that our subconscious mind is a very efficient tool? However it is a tool, and this is to our advantage, it's a tool that can not determine fact from fiction and it does not judge. It's primary function is to carry out what it has been told by you. The more positive instructions and direction we give it, the more positive our results. Every heard of the power of attraction??

5. Be specific and in complete detail when writing your goals. For example; if its is a new car you want, what kind of car, what color, what does the interior look like, what does the new leather smell like? Write it in complete detail.
In 2006 I set a goal and the reward was going to be a Chrysler 300 C Hemi..gold, with satalite radio, power windows and mirrors, seat heaters, back up sensors, in other words every bell and whistle they had available. I wrote the goal in detail. How it would drive, the works.....the car sits in my garage

when we walked into the dealership the sales person said lets take it for a spin, I let my wife drive, cause I had driven that car every day in my mind and thoughts for 15 months. By the way, that goal was a 1 year goal, I didn't give up at the 12 month mark, and neither should you. Your goals are your dreams, don't sell yourself short! Remember the must give our subconscious mind a detailed set of instructions, a roadmap to work on and follow. The more percise the outcome the more efficient our subconscious mind can become. This is true for all your goals, not just a car, but a house or anything.

6. Finally, and I have mentioned this, make sure you set the bar high enough, but not so high you have no hope to achieve it. In other words it must make you stretch and grow to achieve it. Shoot for the moon, if you miss you still have the stars. We sometimes set goals too high and we miss not only the moon but our entire galaxy! Keep your goals sensable but not so easy you can do it in your sleep so to speak. Can you do it? ABSOLUTELY! It's time to release the greatness within you.

HERE ARE SOME MORE GUIDELINES ON SETTING GOALS.

1. REACHABLE GOALS ARE SPECIFIC…IN DETAIL

2. REACHABLE GOALS ARE SIGNIFICANT. YOU HAVE TO CARE ABOUT THE GOAL, HAVE THAT BURNING DESIRE, IT IS THAT DESIRE THAT GETS YOU GOING IN THE MORNING AND KEEPS THE “JUICES” AND BLOOD FLOWING. OUR GOALS ARE WORTH ACHIEVING!

3. KEEP THE GOAL SIMPLE, DON’T MAKE IT COMPLEX, BY KEEPING YOUR GOALS SIMPLE THEY REMAIN CLEAR AND YOUR FOCUS WILL BE STRONGER.

4. REACHABLE GOALS SHOULD BE STRATEGIC IN OTHER WORDS THEY SHOULD INTERTWINE WITH OTHER AREAS OF OUR LIVES, WHICH GIVES YOU MORE REASON TO REACH THE GOAL.

5. REACHABLE GOALS ARE MEASURABLE. WITH OUT BEING ABLE TO MEASURE YOUR PROGRESS IT IS JUST A PIPEDREAM. I READ ONCE THAT GOALS SHOULD BE DEFINED IN TERMS OF WEIGHT, HEIGHT, DOLLARS, INCHES OR HOURS…..

6. ATTAINABLE GOALS ARE RATIONAL. YOU WILL NEED A PLAN, A ROADMAP WHEN YOU EXPLAIN YOUR GOAL IT SOULD MAKE YOU AND OTHERS AROUND YOU EXCITED …AGAIN THE GOAL SHOULD BE OUT OF REACH BUT NOT OUT OF SIGHT…

7. A GOAL SHOULD BE TANGIBLE, SOMETHING YOU CAN HEAR SMELL SEE OR TOUCH…AGAIN THAT SUBCONCIOUS MIND KICKS IN, IT CAN NOT SEE FINANCIAL FREEDOM BUT IT CAN SEE A VISUALIZED BANK STATEMENT WITH LARGE NUMBERS ON IT…

8. FINALLY YOU SHOULD SHARE YOUR GOALS WITH SOMEONE TO HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE TO. IT IS FAR MORE LIKELY WE WILL STICK TO OUR PLAN AND REACH OUR GOAL IF WE KNOW OUR MENTOR SUPPORTS US.

9. MOST IMPORTANTLY...BELIVE IN YOURSELF AS WE BELIEVE IN YOU..

LET'S WIN BIG TOGETHER...
